Santa Monica Moves, Planned Around the City
Santa Monica loads differently from anywhere else on the Westside: permit parking zones, narrow streets near the beach, high-rise buildings with dock rules and apartments that were not designed for box trucks. The plan starts with the address — the block you are on decides the truck position, the carry and the timing.
Permits are the recurring question. Many Santa Monica streets require parking permits for moving vehicles; confirm the zone rules with the city or your building and we will plan the truck spot accordingly.
Beachside and High-Rise Access
The buildings near the sand run on elevator windows, COI requirements and loading schedules. We work with them regularly — share the manager details and the paperwork gets handled before move day. Street-level apartments near the beach add the narrow-street reality: short carries need planned truck positions.
Family Homes Inland
The neighborhoods inland from the beach — around Montana and the north of the city — mix older homes with real driveways. Staging from the garage keeps carries short, and the carry route gets planned for the mature trees and narrow drives.
